We are quickly approaching the end of the year...please check to make sure all work is turned in.  Also, for my Broadcasting and Advanced Tech classes do not forget to turn in your Article Reviews on May 23rd.

The results are in! This year our 7th graders took FIRST PLACE out of 7 teams that participated in the primary division for their website: Heal the World and our 8th graders received Third Place out of Nine Teams in the Secondary Division for their website: School Dinners. Congratulations to all who participated on a job well done!

Welcome to the Third Trimester.  Looking forward to working with everyone!

I am really looking forward to another great trimester! This website will serve as a great place for both students and parents/guardians to find resources for the classroom. The Assignments link on left will be updated weekly with an overview of student assignments.  Please remember that as an elective this course will not appear on team syllabi, so this website will be an important resource, along with Edmodo for keeping track of assignments and due dates.

 

Where can I find samples of my student work?

Students will be using Edmodo, a private educational site, to submit their work electronically and to participate in classroom discussions.  Google docs will also be used to maintain a collaborative work environment. If you would like to see your student’s work please do not hesitate to ask them to log into either site. An access code is being sent home with your student. Please see the Edmodo links on the right for information on how to get started.
