Notice is hereby given that Oak Park School District 97 (“District”) requests Proposals for school wiring needs related to Communication Structured Cabling. The District's objective in issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a contractor who will design and complete the installation of communication structured cabling in four elementary schools during summer 2008. The contract shall follow the requirements of the Illinois Performance Contracting Legislation (Public Act 87-1106). In order to submit a successful bid, interested contractors must attend a walk-through of the buildings on Monday, May 19 at 3:30 p.m., beginning at Mann Elementary, 921 N. Kenilworth Ave., Oak Park, IL. Job specification sheets will be distributed at this walk-through. Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in the Business Office (second floor) at 970 Madison St, Oak Park, IL, 60302. There should be seven (7) copies included at the time of submission. Proposals will be in accordance with Illinois Public Act 87-1106 and the Request for Proposal (RFP) guidelines.
