| When
should I bring concerns about my child to the board? You are always welcome to address the board regarding discussion items on the agenda. It is not appropriate, however, to bring a specific concern related to your child to a board meeting. If you have a concern about your child, you should contact your child’s teacher. Problems can usually be solved most efficiently with a parent and teacher working together. If you cannot resolve the problem with the child's teacher contact their school principal to see if a resolution can be realized. If you are still dissatisfied, you should contact the superintendent’s office, and, if necessary, a meeting with the superintendent can be arranged. |
