Camerata String Ensemble

The Camerata Ensemble is a co-curricular performing group open to all GBMS orchestra students by audition for limited number of positions. Emphasis is placed upon the performance of string chamber music. This ensemble rehearses one day a week before school running September through May. The Camerata Ensemble makes several public performances throughout the year at orchestra concerts, school/community events and other venues. Regular attendance and individual practice is required. Membership is considered an honor and failure to attend rehearsals and performances is grounds for dismissal. Students must be enrolled in Concert/Symphonic Orchestra to be eligible for participation. Camerata auditions are held during the Fall Trimester only.
