General Information

To facilitate large numbers of students entering Brooks at the same time, entrance doors have been designated by grade.

All bus riders - regardless of grade level, will enter from the Clinton Street entrance. (That's where the bus stops!) The door is opened for them to enter at 8:50.

All 6th grade walkers enter from the south side of the building, at the Washington Street entrance. The door is opened for them to enter at 8:50.

All 7th and 8th grade walkers enter through the main entrance on Kenilworth.The door is opened for them to enter at 8:50.

Entering Early

All students entering the building before the regular time must come through the main entrance. Students are allowed into the building in the morning if they have a pre-arranged meeting with a teacher. They must have a pass from that teacher.

Sudents are allowed to enter at 8am to study in the Media Center. They must have their photo ID and sign in both at the door and in the Media Center. They are to go directly to the Media Center, not lockers or classrooms. This privilege is reserved for anyone who has school work to do.
