The library media center is a place to discover new ideas and become
familiar with a wide range of educational materials. Loan Period
for books is three weeks and can be renewed. No more
than six books can taken out at any one time.
The center
is used by students, teachers and parents. Students may come to the library before school - any time between 8:00 A.M. and 8:40 A.M. - to work on homework or just read. They just need to show their ID when entering the building and come directly to the library. Passes to lockers may be obtained once students sign-in at the library. Students may also come to the library during the activity time of their lunch period, but must have a pass to leave the lunchroom and enter the library if activity time is during the 2nd half of lunch. These passes can be obtained from a classroom teacher or the library staff.
During the school day, the library has two areas that are
available for entire class seating at tables. These areas are used
by teachers for a variety of teaching activities. There is also a third, computer area; an entire class or small group may use the computers.
