Aaron Joseph Contraveos

I was born in Melrose Park and was raised in Addison, IL. I went to several colleges and ended up with an Associates Degree in Education where I majored in Mathematics at National-Louis University. 

I student taught at Julian Middle School with Sharon Gunnel and was hired the following school year at Brooks. I taught 6th grade at Brooks for several years and have recently transitioned to 7th grade. 

I currently coach Boys Basketball at Brooks, and previously coached Girls Basketball and Track. I love sports and being active and enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with the students/athletes in Oak Park. 

I recently had my 2nd daughter and love to travel as much as we can but that has been increasingly more difficult as having children during a pandemic seem to have halted those plans for the forseeable future.
