IThe original idea of having the Cafe came from Elena, Julian class of 2002, who thought it would be a good idea to remember that Julian School was once called Hawthorne School, by creating a virtual cafe.

It's grown from that to a place for all of Oak Park's students to express themselves in writing/illustrating their thoughts
