Instructional Technology: Experiences & Skills

Instructional technology skills and experiences are integrated into the curriculum where appropriate. These fundamental skills are taught in the context of curriculum-based projects and not as a stand-alone skill set. The following, based on the National Education Technology Standards for Students, are guidelines for the acquisition of technological expertise in the educational context.

STANDARD 1: Students understand the operations and function of technology systems and are proficient in the use of technology.

STANDARD 3: Students use technology tools to enhance learning, to increase productivity and creativity, and to construct technology-enhanced models, prepare publications, and produce other creative works.
