You can watch the bees coming and going through the entrance tube via the Beekeeper Cam that takes a picture every 15 seconds. If the time or weather are wrong, you will not see any bees. This very busy page lets you check the weather where the hive is located, to find out the temperature, wind speed, barometric pressure, wind chill, and dew point. Extensive bee flight activity records are also available. The hive page is a fascinating one to watch work underway in applying developing Web technologies to scientific research and teaching. Look forward to Hive Core Temperature, with brood nest temperature and other factors to be added shortly.
