World Language - Spanish - Grade 4

Comprehensive Outcomes

  • Understand the spoken target language in the classroom setting
  • Understand high frequency words and phrases outside of class
  • Understand written environmental print with high frequency words
  • Use proper greetings and polite expressions

Participation Outcomes

  • Follow classroom instructions
  • Demonstrate understanding through active participation
  • Respond appropriately to teacher prompts: physically, orally, and in writing
  • Demonstrate cooperation, good sportsmanship, and respect

Communication Outcomes (Oral and Written)

  • Use basic vocabulary, greetings, and polite expressions independently
  • Use target language to convey personal needs
