Description: Students will create a slide show showing the four stages in the life cycle of a butterfly. They can view a video clip of a butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. Additional sites include butterfly based computer games that can tie in with the math curriculum.

Time: At least three 20-30 minutes sessions.

Materials:

Computers with AppleWorks and Internet access (Kid Pix is an optional alternative to AppleWorks)

LCD projector attached to computer for demonstration

Slide show template (if desired)
