Students will use Kidpix to create a schematic drawing of a circuit. They will use various productivity tools to draw a basic circuit. As students are creating their pictures, they will be increasing their ability to use basic painting tools and connect it to their learning.

Students will identify rocks/minerals using various tests to check for different properties that correlate with the FOSS program. They will develop a database of information on rock/mineral characteristics. Students will answer questions about rocks from database searches.

Students will use websites to complete a scavenger hunt activity. The activity will support the Life Science concepts for fourth grade: What is a plant life cycle? and What does a plant need to grow? As students are completing the project they will be increasing their ability to use internet resources for information and how these resources connect to learning.
