Students will design a way to obtain a sample of water from various geographical locations and analyze the properties of the water.  Through collaboration and experimentation, students will discover and understand that the composition of water can be drastically different when taken from different locations. Students will also understand correlation between the composition of water and the temperature at which it boils.

Students will collectively plan a night stargazing session, using computer based software and star map printouts.  After session is planned, the teacher will be able to make printouts of the star charts, which can be generated directly out of the Starry Night program software.
