Adaptation:

Lower Level: Have the students mail the teacher a sample of water in the lightest container that will not break.

Higher Level: Have the students investigate the relationship between atmosheric pressure and boiling point.  Does the same sample of water boil at the same temperature at all points around the world?

Have the students analyze the chemical composition of their water samples including phosphate levels, nitrate levels, pH, conductivity, etc., to determine differences.
