People come to buy some row and dry fish and prepare New Year's dinner.

The fish people want most for New Year's is called sea bream. It has very good taste and is a luck bringer.

Many kinds of fish are for sale, including squid and octopus.

Both in Italy and in the United States, it is traditional to have fish for New Year's Eve. Most people in the U.S. get their fish from the grocery store, but some go to a special fish store .
