Baseball -High School Baseball Championship Tournament
Koshien Stadium (Hanshin Koshien Stadium-Nishinomiya, Hyogo-ken)

This stadium is home ground of the(professional team) Hanshin Tigers,
but, in August, all prefecture high school's baseball teams gather at this
stadium. All team in the playoffs are the winning team of prefecture's tournament.

This year's opening ceremony-prime minister Koizumi came. Also all team's family, friends, school's supporter, town's people come to this stadium. Final stage is Koshien's tournament -a great honor to baseball team.

Of course, August is summer holiday month, and we can see and watch every game on TV and radio. for Japanese-"Koshien" is special meaning of every summer.
