Kobe Jazz Street

The '22nd Kobe Jazz Street,' which will steep the entire city of Kobe in Jazz, was held on October 11-12.

This event is to celebrate the City of Kobe, where Ichiro Ida, a banjo player, formed a jazz band in 1923, making Kobe the 'birthplace of Japanese jazz.' People can listen to jazz 'any time' and 'any place'.

For the 80th anniversary of the birth of Jazz in Japan, this year will feature a program consisting of the numbers that have been popular since the Taisho period (1912-1926) and that have some ties to Kobe.
