Floor Hockey
By: Michelle W.
Floor hockey is a sport that can be played by people of
all ages. The object of the game is to get more points than the opposing
team. You get points by shooting the puck into the goal on the opponent's
side of the court.
Teams
Floor hockey is played by two teams at a time. On each team there are
five players: one goalie, one defensive player, and three offensive
players. The role of the offensive players is to shoot the puck into
the opponent's
goal. The job of the goalie is to defend his or her team's goal and
make sure the puck does not get past them. The defensive player's job
is to
keep the puck away from the goal.
