The Grand Canyon, USA

You will have to click on the small pictures to see the large views in order to get and idea of this immense canyon cut into the rock by the Colorado River on it's journey south. In the third picture, those little dots on the top of the canyon are actually people! The canyon is a geologist's paradise as the river has exposed the various layers of rock formations. People just go there to view the beauty and some hike on the trails or take donkey rides down to the bottom or fly over the canyon in an airplane.
