The New Year Begins

Percy Julian Middle School is a school with students from grades 6-8, which is basically about 12-14 years old.

We have a huge new building, that was completed only 4 years ago. The building has team wings so that each grade is divided into teams and they have their own special space. The elective class areas are for all teams as well as the library, auditorium, gym and the commons (fancy new word for lunchroom).

We actually have 2 gym rooms and an exercise room. There are a little over 850 students in the school. As you can see, on the first day, some knew where to go and some had to get help since they are new to the building.
