There are lots of malls for to shop, movies to go to, and concerts to attend. The possibilities of places to go out and have fun are endless. The concerts range from classical music to classic rock and anywhere in between. The night clubs down Westheimer with live, local band music are big attractions to teenagers.

There are many big malls in Houston, but the ultramodern Hypermall Galleria has three hundred or so smart shops, movie theaters and restaurants, plus skating rink and health club, with indoor tennis courts. Across the way, a waterfall-sized fountain is particularly breathtaking when lit at night.

One of teenagers’ favorite theaters is the AMC 30 showing many different movies at the same time. They go there often on weekends to watch the newest movies, relax and get away from problems.

Another fun place is the Edward Marque. It is an all-in-one place- a movie theater, restaurants, shops, and a game room with arcades, pool tables and a big bowling alley

The Aquarium in downtown offers rides, music entertainment, restaurants, and a train that goes through a tunnel of sharks that gives hair-raising feeling.

Don’t miss seeing the rare, beautiful white tigers there.

For an unforgettable romantic evening, stroll or take a train around the Kemah Boardwalk surrounded by the ocean and dine at the Brady’s Landing for good food and a breathtaking view of the sea.

Houston’s leading family fun place, the Astroworld, has such thrill rides as SWAT, the only extreme suspended-looping "megacoaster" Serial Thriller of its kind on the planet, and Diablo Falls, a spiraling raft ride on the tallest whirling rapids in the world. The park also boasts WaterWorld, the summertime sensation with thrilling water slides and cool pools. The Disney on Ice show in Houston is one of the children’s favorites.
