A tiny coral cay about 30 km from Cairns City. Green Island is home to 126 native plant species, colorful birdlife and surrounded by a magnificent coral reef.
Great strength of spirit and much hard work saw the construction of this railway from the dense jungles to cliffs with drops of 327 meters to coast the below.

Completed in 1995, the skyrail travels above the rainforest canopy. The rainforest around Kuranda has been home to the Djabugay people for over 10,000 years.
