The 40th All Nippon Dixieland Jazz Festival

Many bands assemble to play from all over the country; from Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, Okayama, Kyoto, Himeji. The Festival July 30 is held at the beautiful Maiko Villa Hotel, a resort hotel near the sea and close to the Akashi Kaikyo bridge.The bands play in two of the halls of the hotel. Some performances are also held in the hotel's church. Many people come for the Jazz, and eat, drink, talk, and have a very good time enjoying this summer holiday.
