Fading MemoriesSamantha M.
When I was little, around Christmas time, my family and I would all get together mostly at my grandparents’ house because they were the peacekeepers. We had Christmas dinner; we opened gifts, and had good family fellowship. One special Christmas my grandpa dressed up as Santa Claus, and all his grandchildren got a chance to sit on his lap. We would all take pictures with Santa. Now these memories are slowly fading away. My grandpa passed a way a couple of years ago and Christmas has never been the same. All my family went their separate ways and the only time we ever see each other is when my grandma comes to visit. You see, there are memories I wish I could keep, but these memories are slowly fading away! |
