Changdeokgung Palace Registered on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List on
December 6, 1997 . The palace was constructed as a detached palace in
1405, the 5th year of King Taejong. With it's unique palatial layout,
its exquisite buildings, and the landscaping of it's rear garden, it
is known as the epitome of Korean architecture. See

Deoksugung Palace From 1593, after all rayal palaces were burned down during
the Japanese Invasion of 1592, Deoksugung was used as a temporary palace.
In 1623, the royal palace was moved to Changdeokgung, and this palace
