Our Patron's Birthday
Gimnazjum #4, Gdynia City, Poland

On 30 September was our school patron’s birthday. The patron is blessed priest commodore second lieutenant Wladyslaw Miegon. On 29 September we were celebrating our school festival (we had to put on our new uniforms).

The celebration was started in the church of Saint Joseph with a special service. It was run by priest Slawomir Decowski. After the service we went to a lecture hall in the church to watch a special programme about priest Miegon.

Later we went to our school to take part in the first year students vow ceremony. It was started by our principle Mrs. Chaberek. After that, the first grades put some flowers near the plaque of our patron. Then we could come back to our homes or stay at school for a disco.
