The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, by C. S. Lewis is the first book of The Chronicles of Narnia.

In the book, four children pass through a special wardrobe into the kingdom of Narnia. A witch’s spell has cast Narnia into eternal winter. The witch fears the children are the chosen rulers of Narnia. So she tricks one brother into betraying his family. Aslan, king of the woods, helps them defeat the witch, restore springtime to Narnia, and claim their thrones.
