Attached are the basic Meeting Minutes for September. I will have better minutes next month as I will bring my computer to the meetings going forward. Mrs. Carter can you send it on to all of the teachers?

The minutes are very much from memory so if something or someone was missed or if I have misstated something please let me know.

Above are the only references to the schedule that we put together for this year from last years minutes. Anyone with more specific dates should send them over or bring it up at Mondays Meeting.

Meeting Minutes:Updates: USDA Celebration National School Lunch Week
Testing letters went out and the Parents are calling Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Dressel the rules are changing more as updates become available.
New Initiatives:
Family Reading Night – November 8, 2007, 6:30 to 8:00 Stories at 7:00
and 7:30 – Sharon is going to Chair this event - Marilyn will call
Starbucks for the hot chocolate.
Family Game Night – February 1, 2007, dinner 6 to 8. Raffle, get $100 from PTO and Marilyn will get the games. Budget of $300 to get cleared by the PTO.
Wellness Dinner- April 16, 2007 – Char is gong to Chair - meeting with Kathy Knickrehm and Sandy Noel.ISAT Results: Full report at the November meeting.
Mentoring: Meeting happened with the teachers and the Mentoring program has started with 30 children.

Concerns and questions:
We would like to get the new committees to present to SIT.
Ms. Noel wants to do the Heart Association Jump-A-Thon – the Wellness
committee is going to take it up.
