Message from Sept. 14, 2018

Many thanks to everyone who attended our Curriculum Night! We had a wonderful turnout and have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both parents and teachers. Our dedicated teachers did a fantastic job. If you were not able to make it to Curriculum Night, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher for the information you missed.

Many of our students attended lessons in the Hatch Patch and participated in harvesting this week, and our 5th graders worked with our kindergarten students to make prints of vegetables from this year’s harvest! Thank you to our parent volunteers for their hard work in making this experience possible!

Congratulations to Nurse Rossi who is receiving the William Fitzsimmons Public Health Award that is given yearly by the Oak Park Village Board! We are so grateful to have such a talented and dedicated professional caring for our children each day.

Beginning next Thursday, September 20th, all 3rd and 5th graders will enter through the main entrance in the morning due to the construction beginning in the music room. All other grades will line up as usual. Thank you for your patience as we remodel our music lab.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our annual Taste of Hatch Patch next Thursday at 5:30pm! See the PTO Reminders for more information.
