Irving School Homework Club

The Washington Irving Homework / Tutoring Club is after school on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.  There are 25 fourth and fifth graders students in the program that were identified by their homeroom teachers as students who could benefit from homework assistance and some tutoring of basic skills. The students receive a snack with each session courtesy of the Irving PTO. The program is staffed by several teachers including Mr. Sakellaris, Ms. Ricchio, Ms. Noonan, Mr. Gray, Mr. Williams, and Mrs. Sakellaris. Each staff member has a small group of four or five students that they work with each session. The program runs from the middle of October to April. This program takes place in the Irving Media Center.
