Irving School Live Green Team
Green Team meets twice a month to act as ambassadors for the environment. We work together to educate the school about how we can take better care of the Earth. Green Team is made up of students in Kindergarten through fifth grades. We do science experiments, art projects, digital projects and lots of other fun things that help us learn more about our planet. Green Team also sponsors several events during Earth Week.
This year we were excited to add the Geography Challenge. The Geography Challenge strives to make our students more aware of the geography and geology around us. Finally, we are excited to plant a butterfly garden this year as part of our ongoing efforts to make our playground more Green.
