Welcome to 6th Grade Social Studies!
***The Field Trip to Greek Town is still on for tomorrow, Friday, April 19--make sure you have a CTA Fare Card with at least $5.00 on it! (Or you won't be able to get on the train!!!)
***Go to the Team 6.4 website to view the syllabus!
THIRD TRIMESTER: LATE WORK-There will be no late work accepted (see District's Absence Policy)
Extra Credit: Look in magazines, newspapers, even the internet, for items that relate to our current (or a past) topic of study. Summarize the item, write how it relates to what we are discussing in class, and submit it. As always, written submissions are typed, 12 font, and double-spaced.
Extra Credit 2: If you travel, have traveled, or are even thinking of turning off the TV/computer/iPad and going outside-submit historically significant photos of you at, in or around historically significant places that relate to our study of ancient cultures.
Students: I am available to meet with you regarding assignments, grades or if you just have a question about Social Studies. I will meet with you during your lunch period, or in the morning before school. All you have to do is let me know. "Don't wait until it's too late!"
Remember: "If I can't find a way, I'll make one." ~Hannibal Barca
