Digital Broadcast and Communications Club

Our first meeting will be Thursday September 27th.  If you can't make it please see Mr. Vincenti or Ms. Court

The club will focus on improving public speaking skills and teaching students how to shoot professional quality video and photos, and edit video. The club will meet every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will also require students to attend school related events.  To help keep everyone as updated as possible, students who participate in the club will receive a calendar, stating which events they have signed up for.

Permission Form

Camera Contract Form

Due to the fact that extra time will be required by your students outside of the normal club meeting time, we are asking for your permission for your child to be able to participate in the club. With you permission, your child will have the opportunity to record highlights of school activities and sporting events, interview staff and students, and work together to provide news to their fellow classmates.

*Students with a 3.5 GPA or higher who participate in the club, will also have the opportunity to record events that happen during the school day. For students to be eligible to record these events, permission must be granted by both the teacher and parent.

The foundation of this club revolves around the sharing and presentation of news events, occurring in or around our school. Deviating from the public announcement and paper methodologies of sharing information, this club will allow events to be relived and shared with all students in our school, through the use of video, photography, and other multimedia techniques.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Vincenti at 708-524-4105 or Ms. Court  at 708-524-7837.
