The schedule is primarily for the benefit of the Elective Programs. Teams
often flex their "on team" time (when students are not at electives).
When this is done, students have special flex schedules that are given to them
by the team prior to the schedule changes. The "Flex" allows teams
to accomodate special projects, extend periods for a particular subject, have
guest speakers, assemble for awards, etc. Teams for 7/8th also have a Flex
class which is a team class that varies throughout the year. Each team has
a Health class for one-fifth of the year.
