Middle School – Scheduling Focus Group

We are currently seeking parents/guardians who have time and are interested in helping us explore and assess how our existing master schedule structures align with the district’s vision and goals. More specifically, we are looking for people to provide us with their thoughts and feedback on the following two questions during a pair of focus groups we will be holding later this month. Student Led Parent/Teacher Conference – Thursday, October 25

Families will be participating in Student Led Parent teacher conferences next week. Students have spent time considering the following International Baccalaureate Approaches to Learning Skills: organization, communication, being reflective, and affective skills. They completed a reflection form that will be the focal point of the conference. They have also been collecting work samples from their classes to share during the conference. Students participated in a pre-meeting with their conferencing teacher this week in order to ensure that they are prepared and ready to lead this important meeting. Click here for a list of questions that you may want to consider asking during the student led conference.

School will dismiss at noon on Thursday, Oct. 25 and Friday, Oct. 26 for student-led parent-teacher conferences.

Attendance Matters

One of the goals we have as a district is for 90% or more of our students to have 95% attendance or better for the entire school year. Included in this document is important information about the impact school attendance has on learning and what you can do to support your student to be here every day.
