     GENERAL INFORMATION

     Please remember to check your e-mail at the end of each week for my weekly newsletter which includes concepts, skills, and activities covered by content area.  Also included will be important reminders for the upcoming week.  As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.  E-mail is the preferred method of contact, and I will reply as soon as possible by e-mail or phone. 

     It is important to check your child's assignment notebook each day to see what homework is required.  The students write their assignments in their assignment notebooks to learn responsibility and to practice essential organizational skills.  I initial the bottom of the page once I have checked their notebooks for accuracy.  If your child forgets his/her assignment notebook, you can click on Assignments to view the assignments for that day.

     Each day, your child's assignment notebook and blue and white Beye School folder will come home and must be returned to school the following morning.  The folder is used to transport important assignments, graded work, and important communication from school or home.  Please remind your child to check his/her backpack for these two important items daily.

     Most importantly, I want you to know that your children are making good progress academically, behaviorally, and socially each day.  They are very special, bright, and truly wonderful children.  Our classroom is becoming a better community each day as we practice respectful, responsible, caring, nurturing behaviors while we learn from each other.
