Lincoln School Pick-Up/Drop-Off

Many children walk to school, some are dropped off by car, and some ride the bus.  As a result, the streets around the school are filled with cars, buses, and children just before 8:00 a.m.

District 97 has designated that all Lincoln students who live north of the Eisenhower Expressway are eligible to ride the bus.

Bus route information and the morning pick up times can be found under the transportation tab.  Please be sure that a parent or caregiver is waiting at the bus stop after school.  The goal is for the buses to depart from school at 3:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays).  This will enable you to estimate the arrival time home.

The bus will return a student to the school if there is no adult at his or her stop.

Student should only ride the bus to which they have been assigned.

Buses drop off students in the morning on Harvard Street.

The cul-de-sac is closed for drop off and pick up.

The Oak Park Animal Control Ordinance and District 97 policy does not allow animals on school property.  If you plan to bring your dog with you when you walk your child to or from school, please keep them on the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street from the building.
