Young Rembrandts

A variety of classes for students in all grades that are offered through our Always Learning at Longfellow (ALL) program.

Young Rembrandts is a different kind of art program. In the same way you teach math, science, and reading, Young Rembrandts teaches core drawing skills. The program dispels the myth that art is a talent a child does or doesn’t have. Instead, drawing—the fundamental skill of all visual arts—is viewed as a teachable skill that any child can and should learn. Participating in Young Rembrandts provides children with a comprehensive art literacy that serves them well not just at the drawing table, but in school and on into adulthood.
