Tricia Groben

Tricia Groben joined District 97 in 2012 after 9 years of teaching experience in second and third grade. She served as Longfellow's data and instructional technology coach for 4 years prior before to becoming the building instructional coach. Tricia earned bachelor's degrees in elementary education and English literature from Knox College, and later earned two master’s degrees–one in curriculum and instruction from Loyola University and one in school leadership from Concordia University. In 2018, she earned her National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist. Tricia continues to be an active member of the district's Professional Learning Committee. She loves collaborating with her colleagues at Longfellow to create a positive learning environment for all students.
