District 97 Earns First Place at West 40 Speech and Drama Festival for 8th Straight Year

On March 3, District 97 earned first place at the West 40 Speech and Drama Festival for the eighth straight year. The district’s team, which was composed of students and teachers/coaches from Brooks and Julian middle schools, took home one of the two first place trophies that were awarded, and finished just one point behind District 96 for the top score in the competition.
