District 97 Seeking Members for Technology Advisory Committee
October 19, 2012
District 97 is seeking dedicated individuals who are interested in taking an active role in shaping the future of our schools by applying to serve in a voluntary capacity on our newly formed Superintendent’s Technology Advisory Committee.
The committee, which will meet on a quarterly basis, will be comprised of key district employees, as well as citizens who have an interest and expertise in technology. It will review the district’s current technology plan and offer guidance regarding how it can be modified to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of our students and staff. It will also help direct the district’s long-term vision for technology, and provide valuable insight and strategic thinking on important issues such as the effective integration of technology in the classroom.
The district’s administration will be responsible for selecting the members this committee, and is currently seeking to fill six openings—three employees and three community members. If you would like to be considered for membership, or need additional information about the committee, please contact Chris Jasculca by e-mailing [email protected].
