Highlights from the August 23 Board of Education Meeting

There were several highlights from the District 97 Board of Education meeting held on August 23, 2011, including:

• An update on the district’s special education program
• A discussion about DSEB (Debt Service Extension Base) options and opportunities
• Approval of the intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Oak Park for crossing guard service for the 2011-2012 school year
• The approval and introduction of new staff members
