What if the server has been switched, but I didn't copy some or all of my files to my jump drive?

You will be able to access your files on the old server for a while; however, you need to make sure to no longer work save files or wor onthe old server. After you have retrieved the files you need, it's a good idea to log off of the old server to avoide mistakes. To connect to the old server, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the computer.
  2. From the File menu at the top of the screen, choose "Go", then choose "Connect to Server".
  3. Choose your school
  4. Type in your original username and password.
  5. yourschool.VOL1 will be mounted to the desktop.
  6. Double click to open the users folder.
  7. Double click to open your folder.
  8. You will find your files inside of your user folder.
