 Holmes School is embracing District 97 Wellness Committee's recommendations, therefore no food can be shared on your 1st grader's birthday.  We celebrate during the school day with a crown, the birthday song and a group game of their choice.  You are welcome to visit the classroom on this day to read a book or you can send in one of your child's favorite books for me to read.

                                                         SNACKS

We have a snack in our room each day around 9:30. The snack should be a healthy one - crackers, fruit, vegetables. No messy snacks please. We are often finishing up some work while we eat.
