This team focuses on improving communication and understanding between Whittier staff and the families of its students.

Current projects include:

• keeping the school community informed about SIT activities and Whittier staff through a variety of communication tools, such as the Greenleaf
• helping new families become involved in the Whittier community through programs such as New Family Night and the Whittier Welcome Wagon
• enabling families to talk with school staff through programs such as SIT Tuesdays Nights
• strengthening and enhancing the connection between Whittier and Hepzibah Children’s Association
