I am honored to be a part of District 97 and have the opportunity to serve the Oak Park community.

My passion for lifelong learning and providing all students a rigorous and meaningful educational experience has driven my career. I started my career working for turnaround schools in Chicago and witnessed how transformational leadership not only changes the culture of a school building but also impacts the lives of the students it serves. Over my career, I have been fortunate enough to work at both the high school and elementary level, specifically focusing on school culture and academic interventions and enrichments. In 2015, I joined New Leaders to pursue my goal of one day becoming a transformational leader myself. Through my experience with New Leaders, I completed a yearlong principal residency at Michele Clark Academic Prep High School in the Austin community of Chicago. This allowed me to lead a school under the mentorship of a highly experienced principal, where my work focused on aligning the curriculum and instruction to the new SAT .

While at Brooks, I look forward to building strong and positive relationships with all staff members, students, and families in the community. I hope to be a champion and support system for all of you. Together we will ensure that all students reach their unique potentials.

Please feel free to reach out via email with any questions ([email protected]).

I look forward to meeting and working alongside all of you!
