Hatch Library Book Checkout for the 2020-21 School Year

The new library at Hatch is all unpacked and we are ready to get Hatch Library books into your student's hands!  Just follow these steps to checkout books if you would like:

  • Please fill out this form if you'd like to check out from the Hatch Library.  We are happy to pick out books for your child or if they have a specific title in mind we can pull that book for them if it is available.  To see what books we have available in the Hatch Library's collection, click here.  
  • We will fill the request as quickly as they are recieved! 
  • How Do you Get your Books?
    • In Person Students
      • We will deliver your books to your classroom as soon as they are ready! 
    • Remote Students
      • Mrs. Howe or Mrs. Sordilla will email you when the book(s) are ready to be picked up!
      • Your books will be on the book cart outside Hatch School’s main door on Harvey Ave., arranged by student last name, for you to pick up any day between 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
      • When walking up to the main doors, please follow social distancing protocols and wear a mask.
  • How Do you Return your Books?
    • In Person Students
      • There is a library book bin outside your classroom to put the books into when you are done reading.
      • Please return the books no later than 2 weeks. 
    • Remote Students
      • Please place them in the return bin outside the main door any day between 10:30AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Please know that all returned books are quartined for 7 days before they checked in and available for circulation again.
