I’m a story artist and animator, currently living in the Chicago area, with a passion for storytelling, collaborative work and all things 3D.  After teaching art in Hawaiian public schools for nearly a decade, I’ve decided to continue creating stories through art and animation with any time I have here in Oak Park while teaching our youth.

  • 9+ Years Teaching in Hawai`i Public Schools (Pahoa High & Intermediate, Hilo High)
  • Experience Teaching All Visual Arts Classes (Drawing & Painting, General Art, Photography [Digital/Film], Graphic Design, Advertising Art, Animation, Ceramics, Yearbook, and others)
  • MFA in Animation from DePaul University (2018)
  • Experience with writing grants for Career & Technical Education as CTE Coordinator for two years at PHIS.
  • Former Fine Arts Department Chairperson at PHIS and HHS.
