Sunrise Study Hall: Sunrise Study Hall is back! Sunrise Study Hall is a time for students to go to the Library/Media Center to do work or read before school. Students may begin arriving at 7:30. They come into the office and get a pass from the container located on the book case. Then they go straight to the Library/Media Center. Students are not allowed to go to their lockers or their classrooms, so they need to be sure they have everything they need before they leave school the previous day. Students are dismissed from the library at 7:55 to go to their lines so that they enter the building with their classrooms.
Bear Necessities: Each week children at Longfellow may turn in their Bear Necessities to participate in a raffle (grades k-5) or visit the Bear's Den to purchase prizes (grades 4 & 5). Donations of items that can be used as prizes are always appreciated. If you would like to help out, please see the Wish List on the PBIS blog: http://longfellowpbis.blogspot.com/
Flu Season: Please remind parents that any child with a fever > 100 degrees and cough and respiratory symptoms should be excluded until clinical recovery (fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medications).
